ENJOY THE MOMENT

And one day when tragedy brings you back to your old lane of memories,
You will be able to survive with a smile on your face.

And one day when the stars fall,
You will be strong enough to not wish upon them.

And one day when sunsets appear to be mesmerizing,
You will not rush to capture it.

Life consists of lot of such moments, beautiful to keep holding it,
Too beautiful to just letting them go off and enjoying the moment.

I STILL HOPE FOR MIRACLES

तू मैनु पूछ ना कोई सवाल
चल दूर किते मेरे नाल
के तेरा हो जाऊं

मैं किसी और का हूँ फिलहाल
के तेरा हो जाऊं

Somewhere I want her to know how it feels to miss your loved ones or maybe she knows it well. I want to go back to her, but I cannot. I had to move on knowing you won’t be returning. I wish we had time together.

Oh gosh!! It’s my marriage tomorrow and all I’m doing is thinking about you. I’ll be someone else’s tomorrow and forever.

Standing solitary on the terrace of my bungalow, with a beer bottle in my hand, admiring the sky, with meager hope in my eyes, chilled winds alleviating my face, I know it’s wrong to think of you at this moment. But with this song playing in my background and its entirely relatable lyrics has led me to our old lane of memories.

How I wish…
For once let’s just go to the place where we first met, singing, with no worries, with no questions, just craving for each other’s company.
For once let’s just sit close, watching the sun going down, with your hand wrapped around mine and those fluttering feelings.
You remind me how times can be good, you remind me how people can be loved.

सूखे से पत्ते हैं एक टहनी पे लगे
क़िस्मत तो देखो कि झड़ नहीं सकते
फ़िलहाल तो यूँ हैं कि कुछ कर नहीं सकते

I cannot undo anything. Neither you can. We have played our parts and left it upon fate. I know it’s the harsh reality. Somewhere in my heart I still hope for miracles. If not in this lifetime then maybe in the parallel universe.

AND THEN IT’S YOU AND YOUR EMPTINESS AGAIN

And then it’s you and your emptiness again,

Just the two of you.

No matter how many people visit or knock the realms of your heart,

Nothing stays forever except pain,

Except loneliness.

HOPE

My eyes are shedding tears,

As I am in pain.

A very closest of mine,

Left me in vain.

AN UNENDING ROAD

Just figured ahead of me is , as I continuously walk,

I walk, run, fall, crawl to find a way,

A way out of this maze.

DEAR WOMEN

My dear women,

Stop grappling for everything,

From morning to evening.

My dear women,

Learn to speak,

Cause either they will think you are so weak.

My dear women,

You are beautiful on your own way,

You don’t have to change for their mind’s play.

My dear women,

Stop whimpering and  hiding your face under pillow,

You have the right to glow.

If she is wearing short,

She is a whore.

If she is free and frank,

She is sllaber frow .

She has given up her dreams,

Only cause of you are so important as firm.

She changed her avenue,

Cause now she learnt  to be complacent with you.

Carrying  smile on her face,

Serving food to washing clothes.

Cleaning house to looking after menage’s,

She does everything .

Taking as its her duties and she has to clinch.

She is trying to looking elegant,

Just because of trying to getting attention from them.

No woes,

Ahhh, actually she expunges,

What is it ?

She dealt up with it,

And forged another connotation for it.

In last its not enough for all,

Flinging her dreams,

Taking him as her firm.

No breaks, doing duties as hireling,

Instead, she is also the member of that dwelling.

My dear women,

Please stop holding those things,

Which are not meant for your livings.

You are not a scullery maid,

You are the mistress with your own privilege.

EQUALITY OVER EVERYTHING ELSE

I’m still in a quandary wondering that is this the modern world we are living in! When will the society be free from the shackles of patriarchy, misogyny, sexism and feminism, is still a question!

EVERYONE DYING TO BE THEMSELVES, SOMETIMES LOVED AND SOMETIMES HATED

You want to leave it, but it doesn’t leave you,

The memories of life, sometimes tend to deceive you.

When the casting of life’s characters seems to be well in control,

Suddenly you realise, there’s nothing that you can ever, continue to hold.

DO YOU TOO LIKE TO GET LOST IN UTOPIA?

Do you too like to get lost in utopia?

A world that you enter,

When you are half asleep.

Helplessly sleepy, dizzy and confused.

Unsure of reality. Happily submerging.

Far away from the tactical reality,

Innocently introspecting your feelings.

The mind, unwillingly surrendering.

The heart, gracefully taking control.

A world of that is either black or white,

And not a combination of both.

And to hold trust on unpredictable fate.

He assured me that,

He will find me before apocalypse.
